Congratulations to LMUs Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) students!

SAIL lab member Asha Manthena is collecting data for her study titled “Assessing Caregiver Experiences in Specific Neurodevelopmental Disorders and Neurotypical Controls.”

SAIL lab members Briana Saucedo and Paloma Salahuddin have completed data collection and are analyzing data for their project titled “Perceived Academic Stress and Working Memory in Undergraduate Students: Risk and Protective Factors.”

Aug 16, 2026: Asha Manthena shared her study at a town hall event with the SETD1B Research Foundation. Her study investigates caregivers raising children with the neurodevelopmental disorder SETD1B; including caregiver anxiety and depression, barriers to care and support, and caregiver-reported assessments of their children’s social cognition.

Asha is currently recruiting participants.
